High relief details showing NSFK wing Icarus figure with NSFK scroll above and inscription around rim 'Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Deutschlandflug 1938' (across Germany flight). Reverse has quote from NSFK Korpsfuhrer Christiansen (translates roughly to='We fly for our Fuhrer and for Germany). Serial numbered '6617' on the reverse to individual recipient. Comes in intact and perfect 4x5" hinged black leatherette case with functioning spring button catch at front. Interior of case is lined with plush purple velvet and is recessed to accommodate table medal. Upper interior is padded with white fabric and is printed in gold 'Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Der Korpfuhrer'. Inside liner is hinged and opens to reveal 4x5" document which is printed with matching serial number on the back '6617'. Document is printed with the NSFK emblem and with facsimile Korpsfuhrer Christiansen signature. With typed recipient's name 'Untermeister Ernstberger'.
