G4979.)GERMAN ARMY ISSUE CLOCK: still mounted inside its orignal hardwood stand. Clock still functions. I have had it running smoothly now for the last 24 hours. If you like I can send you a short video showing the sweep of the small, secondary clock at base (seconds). Wooden stand is 5" tall and is milled to hold clock in place, stand is wider at base and has two aluminum bars that swing out to hold clock in place if needed....so it wouldn't tip over. 3" wide black finished face with luminescent painted numerals and hands. Clock face is hinged and opens up to revel the interior. Winding mechanism is here as is the tiny round and threaded nut to reposition hands if needed (set the time). Clock is wound up with grooved, round, finger grip. Marked inside with '8 TAGE  10 STEINE' (8 Day   10 Jewels). Marked also as being the property of the German army 'HEERESEIGENTUM' along with clock maker 'KIENZLE' and date '1941'. Base of wooden stand is die-struck with waffenamt proof eagle/swastika.
