Badge is a handsome nickel-silver construction and attractively toned with years of patina. Separately applied LW eagle at top....this badge just radiates quality and age. Reverse has high quality barrel hinge and long pointed pin that arches up from hinge. Back of badge is darkly tarnished too and is marked with the stylized letter 'A' logo for the Assmann firm. Comes in hinged, 3" square dark blue leatherette case with functioning spring button catch at front. Lid is printed with gold lettering -- now toned -- 'Flak=Kampf=Abz.'. Interior is lined with dark blue floccing and slotted to hold badge and catch. Upper interior is lined with padded blue satin. Badge is just outstanding while the case is intact, shows minor age and wear. EXC++++
