G156.)3rd RCH GERMAN ARMY NCO'S M36 FIELD TUNIC: summer weight HBT four-pocket M36 field tunic, salty and showing tons of genuine age and wear. Wash worn and with a few scattered pin holes, no fraying to edges nor any rips. Heavy herring-bone-twill summer pattern with wartime field gray finished pebbled buttons, circular cotter pin fasteners on back of buttons....removable for laundering. Four pockets are pleated and with scalloped flaps. Zig-zag machine stitching beneath the collar. Wartime subdued NCO silver litzen around collar and wartime type BeVo machine embroidered collar tabs. Collar tabs are original period and appear to be original to this tunic. Hard to say for sure and there doesn't appear to be any evidence of a prior collar tab application. These are meticulously hand sewn on. Composition buttons at collar for removable, launderable cotton insert. While the BeVo machine embroidered breast eagle is indeed an original wartime period example it's a replacement and it's meticulously hand applied. You can discern where the original eagle was placed and subsequently removed. Shoulder straps are original period too, a lovely matched pair. Sew-on type straps, senior NCO rank of Oberfeldwebel with two aluminum rank pips and wartime, subdued litzen. Straps are on field gray wool and are piped in white for infantry. With metal regimental numbers '107'. Field gray pebbled shoulder buttons. These are easily a $185.00 pair if sold separately. Has interior pocket and metal belt ramp loops. Faintly size marked on the inside upper right panel. If interested ask for more up-close and detailed photos before buying. EXC++++

This is a super-attractive price. Hey, original fields tunic on other websites are showing crazy prices such as $1,200 to $2,200 and they're not as nice as this one!
