None of the stenciling remains (instructions on use). Wood on handle is die-struck with date and maker's code '42dbk'. Top of cylinder is faintly marked with the same; oh, it's there, you just have to look for it and it'll jump out. Has porcelain ball inside screw-off cap but no pull cord. EXC+++
