RD3418.)GERMAN ARMY ASSAULT GUNNER'S WRAP AROUND TUNIC: splendid piece of tailoring, an older ensemble and not an example of the newer junk out there in the marketplace. Constructed of a fine officer quality field gray wool and fashioned correctly in every detail. All the proper black composition concealed buttons and all in the correct locations. Piped around the collar with red wool for mechanized artillery as are collar tabs. Each tab is machine applied and has frosted silver stamped alloy skull device. Underside of collar is correctly zig-zag machine stitched. I love this uniform and how it's oh so attractively tailored. On shoulders are slip-on lieutenant's boards, silver cord on artillery-red underlay. Silver metallic BeVo machine embroidered breast eagle is an original period example and is impeccably hand sewn on. Interior is lined with a black brushed cotton and has gray wool panel along the inside front to prevent wear to uniform....a nicely tailored touch. A total of four loops for two badges. Nothing on this uniform glows under a black light. Just an outstanding piece of workmanship. EXC+++++
