The badge itself is okay from the obverse view, actually really a nice badge. Not so much from the back which is a bit bright. Wreath is frosted gold and mildly toned; gun mount is silver frosted. A good looking badge. The hinge on back is typical assault badge type, pointed pin. 3" square black leatherette case, hinged and with functioning spring button at front. Printed on the lid with this badge's designation 'Marine Artillerie=Abzeichen'. Interior is lined with black flocked material and is recessed to perfectly hold hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. EXC++++
