Solid and slightly vaulted construction, a quality silver alloy and finished with a frosted silver finish. Attractively toned with years of patina. Crisp and impressive and with magnetic backing plate properly crimped into place. Silver frosted, fluted pin with quality 'C' hook catch. Back of badge is frosted too and is toned with tarnish. Crisply marked with maker's initials 'FLL' for the Friedrich Linden firm of Ludenschied. Comes in 3x6" hinged, black leatherette case with functioning spring button catch at front. Interior is lined with plush black velvet and is recessed to perfectly hold badge and it's hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. EXC++++
