This one's particularly desirable as it has the bullion wire, hand-embroidered USN officer's eagle device at front. Hand embroidered bullion workmanship is really spectacular and it's now attractively toned and very salty. Toned gold officer's chin strap fastened at sides with USN officer's buttons. Black patent leather visor with green underside. Inside of cap has white oil cloth (a feature that surely dates this cap to WWII!) composition sweat shield with this aviator's calling card attached 'RICHARD DELO HARLEY, Lt (j.g) United States Navy'. Intact, soft and supple brown leather sweat band; stitching is strong and intact too. No mothing to wool. EXC++++
