Nickel-silver starburst 60mm wide (about 2"), highly vaulted and with separately applied enameled device in center. Separately applied gold wreath with crossed swords and separately applied royal motifs being rampant lions, castles and crown. Enameled boss in center shows the royal Spanish colors and motto 'AL MERITRO EN CAMPANA' (For Military Merit in the Field). Reverse has high quality heavy hinge and round pin that curves up at tip. Two flat prongs on the back with central boss is mounted. Comes in 3" square decorative cardboard carton printed on the inside lid with familiar Spanish medals and awards maker 'INDUSTRIAS EGANA, MOTRICO'. EXC++++
