OC465.)GERMAN MP40 NON-GUN REPLICA: I really like this old replica. It's quality-made overall and doesn't have the more current 'clown nose' red plug in the barrel as do all of the more current replicas. This one is properly constructed with all of the right parts and components, tubular swing-out stock and black composition grips. Barrel and receiver, trigger housing and magazine opening are all constructed of a heavy, non-magnetic metal alloy. Entire piece along with magazine weighs 8 pounds so it's pretty close to a real one. Bolt action works smoothly as does trigger which functions. No markings whatsoever on this gem quality piece so it's not a MGC replica nor a Denix, Spanish-made copy. Not sure what it is exactly but I like it and you will too. Really a fabulous display piece. There's no visible obstruction or bar in the barrel. Has a faux magazine that has no internal spring feed mechanism inside. EXC++++
