Tailored of a quality blue-gray gabardine wool and piped around the crown with the correct micro-braided silver metallic cord. Beautifully tailored. Has black velvet cap band also piped top and bottom with the same silver metallic braided cord. At front is silver alloy national eagle, below is impeccably hand-embroidered silver bullion Bahnschutz cockade. This workmanship is stunning....on cut-to-shape black wool and meticulously hand sewn on. Cockade is three-dimensional and sculpted. Cap cord is silver/black bullion braided as it should be and is fastened at sides with silver pebbled officer type buttons. Smooth black patent leather visor with green underside. Inside of cap is lined with gray satin and has genuine leather sweat band, decorative white silk bow at rear seam. Clear moisture shield is 'Erel, Berlin' maker marked along with 'Sonderklasse' (Special Class Tailoring). So-called 'double Erel' as the sweat band is Erel marked too. A really spectacular piece of tailoring...can't say that I have seen one of these counterfeit Bahnschutz visors before. EXC++++
