RD227.)GERMAN ARMY CAVALRY OFFICER'S GARRISON CAP: fabulous old copy of the highest quality tailoring. High quality German army field gray wool, tailored perfectly. Piped around the flap and around the front pleat with the correct micro-embroidered silver bullion cord. At each side are single field green enamel finished ventilation grommets. At front is machine sewn on BeVo machine embroidered metallic silver thread cap eagle on cut-to-shape medium green silk-like underlay. Below is bullion national colors rosette. Machine sewn on golden-rod yellow soutache for reconnaissance personnel. In center is the skull tradition badge for the 5th Cavalry Regiment, stamped silver alloy. Interior of cap is lined with olive-green brushed cotton and is ink stamped with premiere maker 'Robert Lubstein, Berlin' (which was the familiar Erel brand). Dated '1941' and with large size '61'. Has officer's cloth name tag inside too. Nothing on this cap glows under a black light. EXC++++
