Six button front with subdued field gray wartime pebbled buttons. Pockets have scalloped flaps. Note too the proper zig-zag machine stitching on the underside of the collar. Shows mild field wear and age, very convincing. Slip-on type shoulder boards, rank of colonel-leutnant with single gold pip on wartime subdued silver braided cord on reconnaissance golden-rod yellow wool underlay. Note the gold alloy 'GD' devices on these shoulder boards (Grossdeutschland Division). Super quality silver bullion wire hand embroidered officer's eagle machine applied. Just outstanding quality. Collar tabs too are machine sewn on...these are hand embroidered wartime subdued silver bullion on dark green badge cloth wool and with golden-rod yellow twisted center piping. Officer quality hand embroidered silver bullion wire cuff-title likewise machine sewn on...impeccably hand embroidered script silver bullion 'Grossdeutchland' on quality black wool. In second button hole opening are both the '39 Iron Cross 2nd Class and the Russian Front Medal. On wearer's left pocket are three sets of loops for total of three badges. Interior of tunic has the correct gray satin-like partial lining and aluminum belt ramp hooks. About a US size 38. EXC++++
