RD520.)GERMAN MP40 NON-GUN DUMMY REPLICA; OLD MARUSHIN: an old replica being one of the well-known 'Marusin' types. Well-made MP40 non-gun that's inert and impossible to convert into a firing weapon. This is a dummy replica. The frame and trigger guard, grip too along with site and barrel mounting are all gun-metal blued alloy. Note too that the barrel itself is plugged as made way back in the day. Doesn't have the red clown nose on the barrel as so typical of the newer stuff out there. Magazine housing too is metal alloy as is the fold-out tubular stock and shoulder cup. Dark brown bakelite grips. Functioning bolt is cast metal alloy too while the frame itself is a bakelite composition. Bolt functions perfectly. Has steel magazine that's marked with capacity '32' on the side; spring works smoothly. Marked on the receiver with 'MP40' and wartime maker's code 'avf 40' along with 'MARUSHIN'. Entire replica weighs nearly six pounds. In a really good state of preservation, mild wear and age only. EXC++++
