Highly vaulted 60mm wide silver alloy and with separately applied glass enameled white cross in the center, frosted gold crown above. Superimposed in center is blue glass enameled anchor motif. In each quadrant on cross are alternating Spanish royal lions and fortress-castle designs. If you use a strong glass it appears the the blue enamel cross was reapplied (insignificant glue residue underneath) although others that I have examined show the same. It's how they were made. Hey, there are nine rivets on the back of this badge so everything was riveted into place. Reverse has high quality hinge on back and long, flat, silver pin. EXC++++
