RD4333.)GERMAN ARMY REGIMENTAL BAND TRUMPET BANNER: with golden-rod yellow field for cavalry troops. A beautiful piece of hand embroidered workmanship, pretty stunning. Double-sided 15x17" dimensions. On each side is elaborate and complex, high quality embroidery. Wehrmacht eagle is padded and bolstered so it's three-dimensional. It's detailed with black threads for contrast, gold metallic thread beak and talons. Swastika too is thick and impeccably embroidered black thread, edged with silver bullion. Silver lame wreath, really spectacular. Note too that the Iron Cross motif is black ribbed heavy silk and it's edged with silver embroidered litzen. Base is a golden-rod yellow ribbed fabric with black thread embroidered swastikas in each corner....edged too with silver bullion. 1cm wide silver metallic tresse around the outside borders of banner. 2" silver bullion fringe and with black leather loops along the top, buckled.
