RD4445.)GERMAN ARMY MOUNTAIN INFANTRY M43 CAP: super-fine old piece of tailoring. German army field gray wool body, perfectly tailored, a good looking M43 cap. At front are two field gray finished pebbled buttons and mountain type 'T' form field cap eagle which is BeVo machine embroidered on cut-to-shape field gray underlay. On wearer's left side is what appears to be an original period edelweiss cap badge meticulously hand applied. Meticulously hand sewn on. Inside of cap is lined with the proper gray brushed cotton and has crescent-shaped gray leather sweat band at front. Ink stamped inside with size '58' and date '1940'. Nothing on this cap glows under a black light. EXC++++
