OC4517.)TWO BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA SERVICE MEDALS: both the Queen's and King's South Africa Medals named to the same artilleryman. Beautiful genuine silver pendents both in a superb state of preseravation; just a couple of tiny rim dings and no wear to features. Queen's South Africa Medal has five clasps; 'LAING'S NEK'; 'TRANSVAAL'; 'RELIEF OF LADYSMITH'; 'ORANGE FREE STATE'; 'TUGELA HEIGHTS'. Both rims are die-struck with details being this artilleryman's service number, name: '77660' and 'DRV. F.McGOVERN 64th BTY.R.F.A.' (driver, Royal Field Artillery). Both ribbons are replacements of course as is commonly the case with these but neither glows under a black light so there're old ribbons. EXC++++
