US4534.)WWII ERA MERRILL'S MARAUDERS SLEEVE PATCH: as we all know this 530th Composite Group sleeve patch wasn't officially authorized until after the war's end. This specimen however is a true period piece, Schiffli machine embroidered details on typical twill underlay and with narrow khaki border, cut-edge. Lots of white snow on the back, truly indicative of WWII era embroidery. Clean specimen. EXC++++

This is not one of those common Vietnam War era Merrill's Marauders 5307th Composite Group  patches but rather an immediate post-war patch from the time when this patch was first authorized.
