You'll be challenged to recognize just what features with this shield would betray it as being a clever and dangerous old copy. This vintage gem is circa 1970's. Stamped silver alloy shield, slightly vaulted to conform with sleeve's contour and with German army field gray wool underlay. Crisply stamped and impressive. Has non-magnetic (wartime zinc) backing plate and with four flat mounting prongs evident through the tan paper backing. EXC++++
