Helmet shell is finished with typical period rough sand application army green shade 103. OD finished composition liner with dark OD canvas webbing, leather sweat band is soft and supple and intact, lightly darkened from use. Liner tightening band is '66' dated. Has the proper snap-in attachments and OD canvas chin cup that is 'U.S.' marked. Camouflage cover is clean and shows light evidence of use. With VN War era elastic helmet band is is stenciled with 'BAND, HELMET, CAMOUFLAGE U.S.'. On the front of cover are subdued, black machine embroidered captain's rank bars. Nice helmet! EXC++++
