Government machine engraved on the back with recipient's name 'MARVIN E. TOMLINSON'. Comes in black leatherette case with gold lettering on lid 'PURPLE HEART'. Has pin-back ribbon bar and enameled lapel device. Comes in its original purple cardboard mailer which of course was only sent to next-of-kin via US mail. Also includes the Gold Star Mother's device in its carton. Ribbon needs to be re-sewn to the clasp on the back on one side. No big deal. EXC++++
