OC4893.)NORTH VIETNAM NATIONAL FLAG: from the same Florida Vietnam War veteran as the Republic of SV and the NVA communist flags offered here this month. 32x51" dimensions, red cotton body and separately applied yellow star in center. Note too that the area where the yellow star is machine applied is cut-out as it should be. Has 2" wide sleeve at far end for pole. This is actually a rare and desirable Vietnam War era flag! Sure, the VC and NVA flags are reasonably common (well, not super-common) but the national flag of VN quite rare. Shows a lot of soiling and age from field use, some small stains and a few tiny holes. This one's a keeper. EXC++++
