RD4948.)ASSAULT GUNNER NCO'S WRAP AROUND TUNIC: unbelievably convincing, worn and aged. Just radiates age and originality. Hyper-dangerous old, vintage piece of tailoring made to screw you. Field gray wool is the correct sandpapery and scratchy fabric, just like a real one. This tunic was thought to have been original and frankly would easily pass as such I believe. Correctly tailored in every respect and with all the right concealed composition buttons. Has that zig-zag stitching beneath that collar so typical of real ones. Both collar tabs and shoulder straps are surely original period and both are really aged and worn. Collar tabs are BeVo machine embroidered on field gray wool underlay and crimson piped for artillery (assault gunner). Both tabs are really worn and frayed, very convincing. Tabs are machine sewn on. Shoulder straps are slip-on type and show wear and and age from use, Unteroffiziere NCO rank. Has soiled '39 Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon in buttonhole on lapel. Two sets of loops for badges. Inside has the correct brushed cotton lining -- worn and soiled from use -- and ink stamped to uniform contractor 'ADOLF BAUER' with RB number and date '1945'. Has printed owner's tag inside 'Reinpel' and '1.Ausb.Komp.Pz.Jg. Erz.u.Ausb.Abt4' (4th Anti-Tank Training and Replacement Battalion). I cannot overstate how convincing this piece of tailoring is.
