USWV's medal is missing the pin on the back although hinge and 'C' hook are there. Mild wear to embroidered American flag ribbon and serial numbered with die-struck digits 'B87917'. Companion piece is the veteran's gathering commemorative medal for the 'Department of Penna Annual Encampment' on 'June 22-23-24, 1932'. Pendent at base is similar to the USWM medal and with pin-back bronze clasp shaped like the state of Pennsylvania and with raised relief letters 'Bradford, PA Home of the Pennsylvania Oil Industry'.
