RD225.)1870 IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS, NON-COMBATANT: dangerous and clever old copy, vintage and circa 1970's. Black, matte-finished, magnetic center, 3-piece construction. Well detailed as expected and a very deceiving counterfeit, made to fool for sure. Crisp '1870' date. It came to us out of a collection where it resided for years as genuine. Clean full length ribbon doesn't glow under a black light. Ribbon is surely an original imperial period piece. Would easily pass as genuine period it's that good. EXC++++
