G239.)1919 FREIKORPS ANTI-BOLSHEVIK SERVICE MEDAL: refer to Niemann's Orders and Decorations of Germany 1871-1945 pages 99-100 where several of these Orders of the German-Russian West Army medals are shown...known in German as Orden und Ehrenzeichen der Deutsch-Russischen Westarmee, those medals bestowed upon veterans of the alliance between German Freikorps personnel and Russian anti-Bolshevik forces that fought in East Prussia 1919-1920. Medal is 32mm wide bronze with raised relief totenkopf and East Prussian shield on reverse with '1919' date. Prussian black/white national colors ribbon. EXC++++
