This is the badge that commemorated the 1931 gathering of the SA at Braunscheig, a Gau Badge worn by those who had attended. Constructed of a quality silver frosted alloy and attractively toned with years of patina. Has typical German spring clip pin-back mounting and is marked with RZM logo and maker's code 'M1/63'. Angolia confirms that this SA Braunschweig Badge became an official NSDAP award following Hitler's 1936 decree, hence the RZM nomenclature on the back.
