Piped around the crown and at the front flap with the proper silver metallic micro-embroidered cord. On each side of cap are black finished ventilation grommets. At front is BeVo machine embroidered silver metallic cap eagle, on black silk-like underlay and machine sewn on. Below is national colors rosette, also with silver bullion wire workmanship. Machine sewn on golden-rod yellow soutache for reconnaissance. Super high quality stamped bronze honorary eagle device for the 6th Cavalry Battalion (traditions Schwedter Adler). Inside is lined with gray brushed cotton and is marked to the premiere hat maker 'Robert Lubstein, Berlin No.55'. Also marked with date '1940' and size 60'. Fabulous old cap. EXC++++
